Terroir of Quéribus, in the valley of Cucugnan and Duilhac-Sous-Peyrepertuse: soil
of clay-limestone colluvium, situated at an altitude of 300-400 metres. The climate is
typically Mediterranean, tempered by the altitude.
WINE MAKING :
Vinification with de-stemmed grapes at 37%. Fermentation for 6 to 8 days then the
The vatting period lasts from 25 to 30 days depending on the container, with pumping over and two or three
three delestages. Run-off and pressing with separation of the presses. Fermentation
Carbonic maceration at 63% (2/3 Carignan; 1/3 Syrah) with a
Vatting time of 12 to 15 days.
BREEDING : 15 months in vats for 80%; and 20% 2-wine barrels for 9 months

16 - 17°C. It goes well with beef bourguignon and can even be drunk with a glass of wine.
This cuvée is the fruity expression of the magical terroir of the Peter Sichel Estate
located at the bottom of the picturesque village of Cucugnan. This fleshy and greedy wine
contains the warmth and softness of the South of France.
Intense garnet colour with purple hues.
Expressive nose dominated by red fruits.
Fleshy mouthfeel, relatively supple attack developing on a more
sustained, ending in an aromatic explosion.
